Paul Humphreys Credit Insurance Services

Paul Humphreys is 48 and married to Sara; he has 2 young boys and is a keen cricketer and cricket coach. Paul has entered the 2010 London marathon and is running in aid of the MS Society. He ran last year for the  first time for the  children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent. He spent his early working like in the Royal Navy before starting a career in finance.

Paul started work with Trade Indemnity, now Euler Hermes in 1988 and worked as an account manager in the Birmingham office. After a period with an international broker he joined forces with Claverley Insurance Brokers in Stoke on Trent in early 1994 setting up Claverly Hyde Financial Risks Limited, the business grew to being one of the largest independent specialists in the UK.

Following an MBO in 1998, Paul & Sara took full control of the business. Paul remains personally responsible for existing and new business relationships with clients. A number of clients have been with Paul for over 20 years.
